GETTING GREEN WITH YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE
Is there anything more lavish than finishing your day by lathering on all of your favourite skincare products? When our incredible client, Middle Child, asked us to design an event to celebrate the launch of Youth to the People’s brand new Polypeptide Future Cream, we wanted to create a design that was just as innovative and unconventional as the brand itself!
Sustainable green event planning and design for a skincare product launch
Inspired by the planet-positive ingredients of the brand new Polypeptide Future Cream, we wanted the overall design to feel just as clean, luxe, and lush as the product itself! We transformed The Evegreen Brickworks with overall ambiance was both industrial yet tropical, which we brought in using painted cement blocks, geometrical shapes and angles, and LOTS of greenery in all shapes and forms! Guests were able to learn about the new product as well as explore all of their favourites at the styled product display, shown above. The sharp black wall provided a raw and industrial vibe to the product display, making it a whole photo moment of its own!

As this event ran all day, we wanted a super cool photo opportunity that would transition from day to night. This custom-fabricated installation felt futuristic with its neon green lighting and funky shape, while the light-washed wood material and surrounding plants still tied in the product being celebrated. We loved watching the guests taking fun pictures with the photo op!
Toronto catering ideas with super foodS
Youth to the People is known for using innovative super foods for all of their products, so we wanted to create a special menu to incorporate super foods into the food and drinks offered as well! Every plate was exploding with colour and vitamins, which looked beautiful as the plates were set along the highly styled tables. The clean, white tables and industrial bar stools were accented with tropical greenery and terrariums full of products- how cool is that for a display?
We wanted to send guests home with a wholistic overview of the event. In addition to the goodie bags loaded with face creams, cleansers, and serums, a plant was also given to each guest to take home! A plant expert onsite helped each guest pick out their favourite plant, with recommendations based on their in-home lighting situation and water schedules!
