Our Favourite Toronto Venues
What’s the first and most important step in the event planning process, before even choosing a date? It’s choosing the venue, of course! Toronto, one of Canada's most vibrant cities, boasts a diverse range of event venues that cater to every taste and budget. From charming historic buildings and elegant ballrooms to chic rooftop spaces and picturesque gardens, Toronto has it all. Whether you're a local or planning a destination wedding, this blog post will guide you through the best wedding venues Toronto has to offer, helping you create the perfect setting for your special day.
01. BERKELEY CHURCH & FIELD HOUSE
The Berkeley Church and The Berkeley Field House (two separate venues connected to one another) are two of our favourite venues to work at in Toronto. They both have distinctly different styles- one full of history and character and the other, an outdoor oasis in the city with a blank canvas. The Berkeley Church stands out among Toronto event spaces with its amazing fusion of atmosphere and history. The main-floor grand ballroom features a stage, a Victorian bar, and room for hundreds with space for a sit down dinner and a ceremony. The amazing upper mezzanine (like a wrap-around loft), increases capacity and wonderment. The lower level offers more space and more surprises.
The Field House on the other hand is an indoor-outdoor space reminiscent of a carriage house. The covered outdoor patio is alongside a natural garden with a creek, giving a hidden garden feeling in the middle of Old Toronto. There is even a treehouse, which we have used as a quiet place for additional entertainment. This venue is a gem and we absolutely love it.
02. District 28
District 28 in Toronto’s east end is a great ‘blank canvas’ venue for a variety of events, from weddings to corporate meetings to film shoots.
